About the Founder
Thabo Makama
Founder & CEO
Thabo is the founder and CEO of T Makama & Partners (TMP Africa).
He is the current Chairman of the board of Trustees for BMW ESD/SD Trust for Sub-Saharan Africa and Chairperson elect of Rustenburg Community Development ( RCDT).
He is also Global Innovation Catalyst Fellow and Business Mentor for the Milken-Motsepe Foundation Agriculture and Technology Challenge. He is also the host of a weekly Entrepreneurship Podcast T-Junction. He has a Degree in Supply Chain Management , Post-Grad in Human Capital Strategy Management, and Qualified as Program Instructor for Innovation Entrepreneurship through Stanford University.
Thabo has over the years led in various corporates and consulting positions , including at Absa/Barclays Africa, Transnet Rail Engineer, Siemens ,Joy Global, Accenture , focusing on Human Capital Strategy, Organisational Transformation Strategy, Enterprise and Supply Chain Development, SME Bank Funding Solutions and Strategy formulation.
